June Garden Update

The flowers are blooming. We have peonies, pansies, roses, mock orange, lupine, geranium, snow in summer, phlox, bachelor buttons, and rhododendron. The hollyhocks will be blooming soon. I've planted many packets of flower seeds this year both biennials and perennials in the hopes that next year I will have increased variety in my flower garden. I've sowed Sweet William, painted daisies, poppies, shasta daisies, foxglove, salvia and blanket flower.

In the veggie bed we have cherry tomatoes, gourds, potatoes, peas, chard, sweet red peppers, radishes, lettuce, collard greens, cucumbers, egyptian onions, and squash growing. It's early yet so nothing harvested but we're on the way to fresh produce.
