The impatiens have faded and have been replaced with chrysanthemums at my mother's house. 
It's October...
so the Scarecrows and Jack-O-Lanterns have made an appearance among the flowers.
We've had mostly warm days and a lot of rain so far this fall but...
it won't be long before the temperature drops,
the frost comes and the Trick-or Treaters-arrive.
