What a wonderful idea. I'm going to check it out and tell my daughter about it. She gardens on her porch in the summer. She has sliding doors so she could do it in the winter!
That's neat! I live in Miami where it's hot most of the time. I'm having problems getting my basil to grow I don't know if I'm watering it too much or not watering enough. Also my mint plant is beginning to get those white bugs on it. Help!!
Tangela are you growing your basil & mint outside or in containers? Is your basil basically healthy, but not growing very big? Are the bugs on your mint eating it or just on it? You can try just washing them off first with a blast of water from a hose. If that does not work you can try a spray of liquid soap (unscented best) and water.
