On a recent visit to Salem, Massachusetts, I admired the summer flowers. The pansies we saw in the spring have given way to summer blossoms around town.

Salem is not far from us at all, and so reminds me of our small city (Newburyport). Next time you're in Salem, do drop by for tea! You have to pass right by (if you take 95 to/from Portland.
